Getting Started with Tattd
+ What is Tattd?
Tattd connects people to local tattoo artists perfectly tailored to their needs, while providing a platform for artists to market themselves to their ideal client. Clients search for artists based directly on their desire style, budget, and location; so you're only getting projects that align with your art and pricing.
+ How much does Tattd cost?
Tattd is completely free for tattoo artists! You do not have to pay for any monthly membership, or worry about pesky fees for booking appointments with our app!
+ How do I contact Tattd?
- Go to the message screen by clicking on "MESSAGES" at the bottom of the homescreen
- Click on the "Tattd Customer Support" message thread and let us know what you need!
+ How do clients find me?
While searching for artists in their area, clients have the ability to filter results based on their budget, preferred style, and other preferences such as LGBTQ+ artists, women-owned studios, etc.. To ensure your profile is showing up to ideal clients, make sure your profile is fully completed with all the necessary information.
+ What happens if my client cancels?
We value your time! If your client cancels for any reason you keep 100% your deposit. Tattd will take care of refunding the deposit if the client gives us at least 72 hours of advance notice. However, if you cancel, you forfeit the deposit for that booking.
Booking
+ How does a client book with me?
When a client is interested in booking an appointment, they will send a tattoo request directly to your messages in-app. This request will include all the important details about their design, placement, size, and any inspiration images they're able to provide. You then send a quote, including your available times and the deposit amount to secure the appointment, and they can book with a click! And don't worry, Tattd automatically integrates with whichever Calendar you're already using.
+ What if I do not want to do a tattoo request?
If you're not interested in a particular tattoo for any reason, you're able to decline it directly within the tattoo request, no questions asked! Your time, your work, your choice.
+ What if my books are closed?
Very soon we'll have a feature to change the status of your Account to "Books Open" or "Books Closed". For now, feel free to clarify this in your Tattd bio the same as you would in IG.
+ Does Tattd have a waitlist feature?
Coming soon! This feature is completely optional, but soon Tattd will roll out searchable waitlists for your prospective clients. Searchable means: Have a last-minute opening and want to look for tattoos that will only take you 1-2 hours? We got you.
Payments
+ How do I get paid?
Tattd provides you with 100% of the deposit sent by the client through our app. When a client books, the full deposit is transferred directly into your Stripe Payment Account. There, you can transfer to your bank at any time, just like Venmo. For the rest of the tattoo cost, that's all up to you! Cash, Venmo, whatever your preference is.
+ Do I need a Stripe account to use Tattd?
Yes, you do. In order to receive and withdraw deposits from our platform, you will need to have a Stripe Account that is hooked up to your Tattd profile. But don't worry, it's super easy. If you go to "CASH" at the bottom right of your profile, you'll be guided through the steps to set it up in 3-5 minutes.
+ When do funds become available in the Stripe Dashboard?
Funds will become available on the Stripe Dashboard within 2 business days of a client submitting their deposit. Still don't see them? Contact us at artist.support@tattd.co and we'll get back to you ASAP.
+ How long does it take for my funds to transfer to my bank account?
Within the Stripe Dashboard you have access to change your payout schedule to manual payout or set up automatic daily, weekly or monthly payouts.
Once you determine your payout schedule, you can either choose instant payouts, which will allow funds to be instantly deposited into your bank account for a 1% fee, or regular payouts, which will take approximately 2 business days at no cost to you.

+ How do I edit my artist profile?
Go to the "DISCOVER" screen and click on your profile image
Click "Edit Profile"
+ How do I add photos to my profile?
Go to the "Discover" screen and click on your profile image
Click on the plus icon and upload your desired profile picture
+ How do I reset my password?
- Go to the Tattd Discover Screen
- Click on your profile picture
- Click on the settings icon wheel - image
- Click on the password drop down button
- Enter your current password, new password, and retype new password, and select save once you are finished.
